UBS has added an ICAP and Citigroup veteran to head its hedge fund sales team.

David Knight starts his new job in January. He has been named a managing director at the Swiss bank and will report to the firm’s co-heads of European flow execution, Edward Keen and Makram Fares, Bloomberg News reports.

Knight spent a year-and-a-half at ICAP, where he served as a sales trader. He joined ICAP in February 2008 from Citi.
