Description: Senior Trade Operations Specialist

We are searching for a Senior Trade Operations Specialist to join our hedge fund clients settlements group. The candidate should have previous experience settling trades, although experience settling all types of OTC trades is not critical. We are looking for someone who is able to adapt to a fast paced trading environment and understand the time pressure associated with the role. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are key as well as accuracy and attention to detail. This role reports directly to the Controller.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily trade reconciliation between trading desk and accounting system
• Review of daily cash activity and preparation of detailed exception report for accounting
• Settlement of all investments, including Credit Default Swaps, Bank Debt, Bonds, Equities, Equity Swaps, Trade Claims and other OTC investments.
• Monitoring of Bank Debt activity including rate resets, paydowns, PIKs
• Quarterly investment confirmation and reconciliation
• Collateral and interest management

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• 2-4 years of operations experience at a hedge fund or buy-side firm required
• Excellent Excel skills
• Thrive in fast-paced environment; ability to respond in a timely manner
• Four-year degree, accounting or related major preferred
• Experience with Advent Geneva a plus
