Description: The Investment Management Group has an exciting opportunity for a Hedge Fund Finance Analyst to join its Finance and Controller’s department. As a Finance Analyst, you will be exposed to various areas within our Asset Management division.

  • Responsible for maintaining proper documentation and records of accounting/financial reporting data for the Hedge Fund of Funds.
  • Assist in process enhancement and procedures development as needed.
  • Review and analyze monthly and quarterly investment statement for Hedge Fund Valuation.
  • System implementation, testing and reconciling data to ensure all data accuracy and integrity.
  • Interacted with Fund Administrators, custodian banks, portfolio management, internal and external counsel to confirm Hedge Fund transactions.
  • Review monthly and quarterly closing for the Hedge Fund.
  • Assist in the review of annual audited
  • Provide other managers and departments with information required to carry out their assigned responsibilities.
  • Verify all subscription and redemption notices from investors.
  • Prepare wire instructions and ensure funds are received.
  • Perform or assist with month end procedures.
  • Finance Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, consolidation, budgeting, analysis, and special projects relating to Hedge Fund of Funds.
  • Preparation, analysis, and review of financial and accounting documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Accounting major, or CPA candidate, a plus
  • Strong communications skills, written and oral, as well as strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills are critical. Must have the ability to work well with others, in an unstructured environment, and be able to handle time-sensitive projects
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Word and Excel
