KKR Appoints Senior Advisor

Private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has appointed John Bryson, retired chairman and CEO Edison International, as a senior advisor to the firm.

Bryson retired from the electric utility on July 31. Before joining Edison, Bryson was a partner at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster.

“We are delighted to welcome John as a senior advisor to KKR’s infrastructure team,” said Henry Kravis and George Roberts, co-founding members of KKR.  “His many years of experience building on and improving the assets and services of a large, complex, and regulated business like Edison complements our group’s objective to further enhance the value of global infrastructure through private investment.”

KKR was founded in 1976.
