JPMorgan Vets Join Claret Capital

Private equity shop Claret Capital has made two key appointments to lead its new private Equity Fund teams in its Dublin and New York offices.

Dermot Hanley and Yuki Narula have been named managing directors of private equity funds in Claret’s Dublin and New York offices respectively focusing on middle market deals.

Hanley joins Claret from JPMorgan Chase in Toronto where he was executive director in the mid-corporate investment banking group. Narula also hails from JPMorgan in New York, where he was executive director of the financial sponsors group.

“The current market environment presents us with an increasing range of attractive investment opportunities for our investor group,” said Tom McAleese, Claret Capital’s chief operating officer. “Dermot and Yuki’s experience will enable us to continue to capitalise on attractive investment opportunities brought about by market uncertainty.”
